I’ve never been a morning person so I need all the help I can get to make me look more awake first thing in the morning! I was really excited when This Works sent me the new morning expert range to try out, the deep sleep pillow spray is one of my ultimate favourites so I’ve got high hopes for this range.
The whole collection is supposed to target morning skin concerns and help you wake-up well with clinically proven natural skin solutions to help restore your morning glow. I’m all about that glow and at the moment I’m trying a lot of different products with vitamin C in to try and get that glowy, fresh skin look.
Morning Expert Hyaluronic Serum
30ml £37
There’s nothing I don’t love about this – Hyaluronic Acid is a must in my skincare routine and I have a LOT of hyaluronic serums in my beauty drawer at home. This magic ingredient occurs naturally in our skin and can hold up to 1000 times its weight in water so hello hydrated skin! I’ve found that this works brilliantly by applying a few drops of this directly to my skin after cleansing and toning and following up with a moisturiser. I find the packaging slightly strange, most serums I’ve tried come in a glass bottle with a dropper but this one comes in a tube which makes it feel slightly less luxurious. But nevertheless, this is my favourite out of all of them and if you could only buy one product from the Morning Expert range, it should be this one. The This WorkscMorning Expert Hyaluronic Serum costs £37 for 30ml.

Morning Expert Open Eyes
15ml £30
I’m not very good with eye creams, I usually forget about them so despite collecting them, they tend to sit in my drawers and get dusty (a crime, I know). I like the applicator on this which is almost like a rollerball and it feels cool against the skin so I must remember to use this more! The Morning Expert Open Eyes costs £30 for 15ml.
Morning Expert Multi Acid Pads
60 pads £33
The ultimate product for any lazy gal – these acid pads are amazing! I’ve always been a fan of acid toners and use them every morning and evening in my daily skincare routines and these pads make everything easier.
Ive been using these first thing in the morning after washing my face to tone and gently exfoliate before applying my serum and moisturiser and they’re perfect for reaching for first thing in the morning when you’re tired and bleary eyed. The This Works Morning Expert Multi Acid Pads cost £33 for 60 pads.

Morning Expert Vitamin C Power Mask
55ml £39
I love a good face mask but I have to admit that I tend to do them in the evening or at the end of the day. I usually don’t have time for them in the mornings because every extra ounce of sleep I can get overrides everything! So I had to force myself to get up a bit earlier to try this out and boy am I glad that I did!
The mask itself is exfoliating with a balm like consistency and the active ingredient, vitamin C activates after massaging it into the skin for a minute or two so perseverance is key. You can leave it on for up to ten minutes while you make some breakfast or scroll through insta before getting ready before washing off.
The result is a beautiful glow and fresh skin ready for the day! This will be perfect for when you need a pick-me-up or feel like a pamper morning. The This Works Morning Expert Vitamin C Power Mask costs £39 for 55ml

Morning Expert Wake up Drops
5ml £16
So when I first unpackaged this and saw the drops, for some reason I thought they were eye drops (face palm). I remember reading the back of the bottle thinking; “Oh they have essential oils in, that’s weird. Why would I want to put that in my eye? Surely that would sting?!” Thank GOD that I didn’t put them anywhere near my eyes because that would not be sensible.
It turns out that it’s a diffuser oil, and you put a few drops into an air diffuser, which diffuses an aroma into the room. I’ve now become obsessed with this, essential oils are all over my birthday list.
The Morning Expert drops are a blend of peppermint, lavendin and rosemary which smells fresh and sets you up for the day. A few drops of this into your diffuser when you wake up and it’ll help reduce those feelings of fatigue and boost your alertness while you’re getting ready for the day ahead. I’m completely converted and now I’ve got my eye on the Deep Sleep Super Blend Oil because everything in the deep sleep range is sleep in a bottle! The This Works Morning Expert Wake Up Drops cost £16 for 5ml.
Have you tried anything from the Morning Expert Range? What’s your favourite This Works product?
