Another year has come and gone and 2018 really feels like it has flown by. In the hustle and bustle of Christmas and after overindulging in food and drink over the festive period I always like to reflect on the year that’s passed.

For me, 2018 has been the year where I’ve really focused on my blog. After finishing my masters level qualification which I was completing in my own time alongside my full time job, I’ve had a lot more time to dedicate to this blog. I’m pleased to have posted 50 blog posts this year which is almost one a week for the whole year.
My most viewed blog post has been my challenging treasure hunt for adults blog post which includes all the clues and where to hide them. Unsurprisingly the next most popular blog post was my treasure hunt around the house blog post and this one is shorter and more child friendly! I’d really love to hear any stories of people actually doing my treasure hunts. Finishing up my top three for 2018, in third place is my review of brunch at the Elan Cafe in London which was tasty, incredibly instagrammable and a fantastic alternative to the rather disappointing and overrated Peggy Porschen which I also visited this year.
On a personal level, this year I changed jobs and have settled well into my new company, team and role and really enjoy working in the City of London.
I think I’ve had the same New Years resolutions for the last few years now which I seem to struggle achieving! You can read more about my 2017 resolutions >> here << and I think I’ll give these another’s go for 2019. Is this a futile attempt?!
Finally, I’ve really loved filming One Second Everyday again this year but boy it’s harder than it sounds!
What was the highlight of your 2018?
