There isn’t a better way to start off Valentines Day with your loved one than putting on a special Valentines breakfast – you could do this on the day before work, or save it to the weekend and enjoy a lie in too.
Last year, my boyfriend and I were 350 miles away from each other on Valentines Day so this year we’re excited to spend the day with each other and we are even planning on going out for dinner – something we’ve never done in our almost five years together.
Breakfast together is a great way to start the day and this Valentines Breakfast will put you in a great mood, especially as its supposed to be the most important meal of the day. Coffee is essential (of course) and I topped a piece of toast with a fried egg in the shape of a heart – there are several different ways you can do this but I bought a small, heart shaped frying pan which meant it was super easy and took no time at all. Ten points if you can see my reflection in one of the photos!
Served with a single red rose and scattered heart shaped chocolates, it’s the perfect start to a perfect Valentines Day. How are you spending Valentines Day this year?
