I’ve been using Collection Lasting Perfection concealer for years now and their liquid concealer has been a staple part of my daily makeup routine.
I’ve seen quite a few colour corrector palettes on the market but they seem a bit fiddly so I was really excited when Collection released liquid colour correctors. They are available in three shades- green, purple and yellow at the bargain price of £4.19 each.
Colour correctors are applied before foundation and aim to correct uneven colours in skintones.
Colour Correctors- The Shades:
Green– this neutralises redness and works well on my nose area which is quite red. It also works well on redness around blemishes.
Yellow– this cancels out purple tones so it’s great for the under eye area which brightens. I add my Collection Lasting Perfection concealer (fair) over the top of this after I’ve done my foundation.
Purple– this livens sallow or dull looking skin.
The formula is really creamy and coverage is very good. Application of the product is really easy thanks to the applicator and it blends out very well with a brush. It can look a little scary when you first apply it- think dots all over your face. But once it’s blended out it creates a flawless base to add your foundation to.
There are a few other colour correctors on the market such as Urban Decay Colour Correcting Fluid but if you’re apprehensive or you’ve never used colour correctors before, I’d definitely recommend trying these Collection Lasting Perfection ones.
Overall, I love these and although they wouldn’t be part of my everyday makeup routine I’ll definitely be using them for weekend makeup or for nights out when I’ve got a bit more time. The green and yellow ones are my favourites and I can see myself using these the most.
Collection Lasting Perfection colour correctors are available from Boots or Superdug and cost £4.19 each.
