Threads Beauty Lashes Review
Just before Christmas, the lovely people at Threads Beauty contacted me, asking if I’d like to try their false eyelashes. I never used to be very good at putting on lashes, but in the last 12 months I’ve started to get the knack for it. I now often wear lashes on the weekend, to add a bit more drama, volume or length to my look.
Threads Beauty sent me their Charleston*, Vava Voom* and Sex Kitten* lashes to try.
The Charleston lashes are beautifully natural and add a touch of length without it being too obvious that you’re wearing falsies. These would be great for an effortless, barely there makeup look.
The Vava Voom lashes are also quite natural but a tiny bit more dramatic; the criss cross style of the lashes add more texture to the eyes without looking too over the top. These ones are definitely my favourite and I think they’re a good all rounder that will work for lots of different occasions.
The Sex Kitten lashes are a lot more full on, these are all about the drama, perfect for a night out.
All the lashes come with their own little glue which was surprisingly good! My lashes don’t budge once you put them on. I wore a pair for 15 hours on a windy day out in London (does anyone else get the fear that your lashes will blow off) but they were still firmly on my lash line when it came to the end of the day.
I hadn’t heard of this brand before but I’ve been loving wearing the lashes that they’ve sent me; they feel really light to wear and haven’t started falling off half way through the day so I’d definitely recommend them.
